Adam has lived in the Chicago suburbs. He grew up in the Southwest suburbs, then moved to Downers Grove when he married his wife, Cindy, in 2016.
Adam became a Newcastle supporter in the late 1990s, after his grandfather brought home an Alan Shearer shirt from his first UK trip. He watched every match he could, first on Fox Sports World for Premier League matches, ESPN for Champions League, and later services like Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Sports Plus, and Setanta Sports.
Adam founded Toon Army Chicago as a way to connect and interact with fellow Toon supporters across the greater Chicagoland area. He is currently a host of suburban meet-ups when the Premier League schedule permits.
When he is not watching the Toon, he is enjoying time with his wife, his two kids, Ella and James. He also enjoys watching Formula One, and he is a big St. Louis Blues fan.
Born with Black and White blood just outside of Newcastle, Beverly has been a Newcastle United fan all her life.
She was a season ticket holder when Graeme Souness took charge and suffered almost 10 years under the Mike Ashley era.
In 2016 she moved to Chicago and met Adam on a match day at AJ Hudson's and now heads up the City meet ups.
When not watching Newcastle, she is watching all the Chicago sports teams (which at the moment is not fun) and boring her wife and two wiener dogs with Newcastle facts.
